I am the Coordinator of the Holiday Gift Shop that we hold at Bruderheim Elementary School every year. I have participated in this program for the last 7 years, since my son was in preschool.
Every year I am totally amazed at how the children react to the gift shop. We live in a rural community and this is a really big deal for the kids because they don't get into town everyday, so they really look forward to getting all their gifts for family and friends at the gift shop. The kids here save for quite a while as they all know what is coming up in December! It is one of their favorite events of the school year! We all think the merchandise gets better every year, and we have a great time unpacking the boxes and checking out the wares for the gift shop. Dear Holiday Gift Shop,
For the past 4 years our school has used your services to provide our students with the opportunity to shop for their friends and family.
Our students, especially the younger ones, truly enjoy this event. It allows them to shop without a parent telling them "they can't get that." For those of us that put this event together, it's great to see all the smiling faces as students walk away, so proud of themselves and their purchases.
One thing that I really like about this event is the fact that every year the items available are different from the year before and each year the quality of the products gets better and better. This year, the items were amazing!

Dear Hazel, Wanda, and fellow staff,
I want to share with Fun Services how much I feel your "Gift Shop Program" has been beneficial to us.
As a co-ordinator for the past ten years, I would like to share how much of an asset this program is to any school that participates.
The Holiday Gift Shop brings shopping to students from 4 years of age to teens, and also the staff, parents, and school community. It is educational for all who participate in it; students, adults, and volunteers. For example, a child arrives with $5.00 and has 6 people on their list and leaves with his 6 gifts and change, or arrives with $2.00 and a list of 4 people and leaves with only 3 gifts, knowing now that he has to raise more money to shop for more people. The concept is so educational I firmly believe all schools should have a program like this.
The gifts are appropriately sent to meet the needs of each individual school. (Sometimes, I think Fun Services has sent a spy into the school to see what would be appropriate merchandise to have, to meet our needs).
The staff at Fun Services are so helpful at meeting all of my needs as well. It doesn't seem to matter how panicked I am about something, they answer my needs and calm everything into perspective with a simple phone call.
It is a great fund raiser for any group and everything is provided for you. All you have to do is send out notices of the event, set up the store, get volunteers to help and open your store for the shoppers. Closing the Gift Shop is just as easy. Count what is left, put it in a box, and the staff at Fun Services look after the pick-up, shipping and delivery.
Fun Services is an extraordinary Company to work with. They make Fund Raising for us such an easy task.
